The session will discuss delayed recovery, its dynamics, and what it looks like and will explain why mental health is a comorbidity in many workers’ compensation cases. Examples of a highly successful early intervention approach to delayed mental health recovery management, including screening, triage, and provider engagement will be explained and demonstrated. It will also offer practical suggestions how the proper use of early intervention delayed recovery due to mental health issues can be prevented.
