Description

As the national workforce ages, the incidence of orthopaedic injury has increased as well. This is due to multiple factors related to aging and physical job requirements. A thorough review of the literature and case studies demonstrate the importance of understanding the increase of orthopaedic injury among aging workers and the nursing interventions used in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of those injuries.
